All drivers must meet our minimum age requirements and present a valid photo drivers license. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply. Maximum of 3 additional drivers. Cost CAD 8.99/per day, per driver
Minimum Age is 18. Age 18 to 20 â surcharge applies CAD 19.99/ per day, plus taxes. Age 21 to 24 â surcharge applies CAD 14.99/per day, plus taxes. NOTE: Underage surcharge will not appear in the total pricing on the reservation.

If you made a reservation directly with Fox Rent a Car at www.foxrentacar.com or our call center, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Fox does not charge a cancellation fee but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed.
If you made a reservation through another provider (Expedia, Priceline etc.) please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not canceled within a specific time frame. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

CURRENCY CONVERSION - The estimated total is displayed in U.S. Dollars. The actual rate you pay will be calculated by converting the U.S. Dollar (USD) amount into the local currency using a published exchange rate established by the local rental company. When converted, the amount will best represent the original quote.  However, due to currency fluctuation variances may be unavoidable. Your credit or debit card company may convert the amount back into USD at a lower rate, and may apply additional conversion fees and surcharges. Because conversion rates may differ, the final total USD charge to your credit or debit card may be higher than the USD total rate estimated on this website.
Valid Drivers License and major credit card must be presented at time of rental. Name on credit card and Drivers License must match. Canadian Residents must have a valid full class 5 drivers license at time of rental. International renters must also present a passport and a valid drivers license from their country of residence. If the license is not in English or French an international driving license will be required.
MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods please make sure to use a different name for each reservation otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be cancelled. FOX will not be responsible for any cancelled reservations..

Option 1 â Fuel Service Option (You Fill the Tank). Vehicle is rented with a full tank. You may return the rental full to avoid a charge.
Option 2: Fuel Service Option (We Fill the Tank). Vehicle is rented with a full tank. We will refuel the vehicle based on the kilometers driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee of CAD 2.950 per liter will apply.

Kilometers are unlimited within a 400-kilometer radius of the city of Winnipeg, with a maximum allowance of 4000 km/ per rental. Excess kilometers are charged at CAD 0.35 per kilometer. To take vehicles outside the 400-kilometer radius of the city of Winnipeg a written agency authorization must be obtained at time of rental.
After the confirmed pick up date and time reservations will be honored for a period of 1 hour. IN CASE OF DELAYED ARRIVALS - You must contact the location directly to inform of the delay and prior to the scheduled arrival time in order for the car to be held. Fox Call Center is unable to assist in these matters. See SHUTTLE policy for location contact number. Every effort will be made to accommodate based on fleet availability. Location will confirm at time of contact.
Third party liability Insurance is included in the rental rates, as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with the Local Law and the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), Loss Damage Waiver is not Insurance and is not mandatory. The Loss Damage Waiver can be purchased at the time of booking or time of rental. If the Loss Damage Waiver is not purchased, renter is responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle and will pay a daily Down-time fee until the vehicle is repaired or a total loss is settled. Accepting waives any responsibility for loss or body damage including Down-time. The waiver may have a deductible for which you are responsible. Three options will be available at the time of rental. Cost ranges from CAD 13.99 â 19.99/ per day, plus tax depending on the coverage option accepted.
Roadside Assistance Plus (RAP) is an optional service, which, if accepted, reduces your financial liability for services required to remedy non-mechanical problems of the vehicle and/or problems resulting from an accident or collision. Services include lockout, dead battery, spare tire mounting, out of gas, lost key, and towing services. Maximum limits of coverage apply. Exclusions apply. Note: Rates include Basic Emergency Roadside Assistance covering mechanical defects of the vehicle only. Cost CAD 6.99/ per day, plus tax.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is an optional coverage, which, if accepted, provides coverage for any accident involving death or bodily injury during the car rental covering you and your passengers. You are covered for the duration of the rental in or out of the vehicle. Passengers are only covered while entering, occupying, or leaving the rental vehicle. Exclusions apply. The maximum coverage per person is CAD 500.00 with a deductible of CAD 50.00. Maximum coverage per rental of CAD 1500.00. Cost CAD 5.99/ per day, plus tax.
Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) is an optional coverage, which, if accepted, provides coverage for the loss or damage to Personal Effects of the renter and any companions traveling together in the rental vehicle. Personal items covered are insured only while in the rental car. Coverage will be paid in addition to any other homeowners coverage. If loss or damages occur, completion of the claim form must accompany the claim. All losses must be reported to the police and there must be signs of forcible entry. Property is valued at actual cash value and not replacement cost. A copy of the police report must accompany the claim. Exclusions apply. Cost CAD 5.99/ per day, plus tax.

DEPOSIT - Every rental agreement requires a credit card pre-authorization for the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional CAD 500.00. Drivers under the age of 30 will require a pre-authorized deposit of the rental amount plus an additional CAD 750.00. ACCEPTED CREDIT CARDS for deposit - American Express, Master Card, Visa. Note: CASH DEPOSITS AND DEBIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

SMOKING - All vehicles are non-smoking. If evidence of ashes or smoke smell is detected, renter will be charged for a shampoo fee up to CAD 250.00.
PETS - Pets are not permitted in rental vehicles.
EARLY RETURN - Vehicles are rented on a daily (24 hour) basis. Any rental of less than 24 hours will be charged a full days rate. No refunds will be authorized for early returns.
OVERSTAY - If the vehicle is not returned on the date and time agreed upon at the time of reservation, all special rates and weekend rates will be charged at regular rate with an additional surcharge.

The Fox vehicle provider for this location is U-Drive Car Rental. Upon arrival please proceed to Unicity Taxi service at the airport for a complimentary shuttle to the U-Drive Car Rental office. The fare is included in your rental rate. No payment is required for the shuttle service. The U-Drive Car Rental airport location office is located at 1700 Sargent Ave, just a few minutes from the airport. The location contact number is (866) 974-8374.
The renter is responsible for paying all parking and traffic violations incurred while using the rental vehicle plus an administration fee of CAD 60 per occurrence. These items will be billed directly to the Credit Card used for the pre-authorization.
