A deposit equal to the estimated amount of the rental PLUS USD/200.00 will be charged to your credit card at time of rental. Valid drivers license and credit card must be in the same name as the primary driver.Accepted Payment for Deposit: Visa, Master Card, Discover or AMEX credit cards.NOTE - Cash is not accepted for deposit, see Debit Card policy under Debit Card heading.

PAYMENTS

The following forms of payment are accepted upon return of vehicle- Visa, Master Card, Discover, AMEX, Cash, Debit and Pre-paid CardUnused deposit funds will be returned through the credit card processor after vehicle return. Due to bank processing it can take between 2 to 5 days to appear back on your account.

International drivers must have proof of North American car insurance to decline CDW. Any Renter maybe held financially responsible for damages to vehicle regardless of fault. Renter is responsible for all charges associated with a vehicle accident. By purchasing CDW the renter can eliminate the responsibility provided the terms of the contract are not violated.

Minimum Age for renters and drivers is 21. NOTE, Renters and drivers under the age of 25 are subject to an underage charge of USD/15.00 per day.

No one way rentals are permitted at this time

If your reservation was confirmed directly with FOX Rent A Car by utilizing the reservation call center at 1-800-225-4369, or through the FOX Rent A Car web page at www.foxrentacar.com, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. FOX does not charge a cancellation fee on passenger car reservation, but does require a 48 cancellation notice to avoid a $100 cancellation fee on specialty vehicles or a $150 fee on a Fullsize Van.


If your reservation was confirmed through another provider (booking site, outside source, etc.), please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers (booking site, outside source, etc.) may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not cancelled within a specific time frame. Cancellation of a reservation directly thru FOX Rent A Car when confirmed thru another provider, may not relieve your responsibility with that provider. In order to alleviate charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

Reservations will be honored for a period of six hours after the confirmed pick up date and time.

MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation, otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be cancelled. FOX will not be responsible for any cancelled reservations.

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of the rental to avoid refueling charges.

In case of an emergency, such as an accident, follow the instructions on the documentation in the glove box of your rental vehicle. In case of another type of breakdown, call our office at 843 655 4126 for roadside assistance to be arranged.

Infant, toddler and booster seats available for USD/8.95 per day. GPS are USD/9.99 per day

Local renters with valid SC license will be give 100 miles free per day and USD/00.35 cents for each additional mile. FOX MYR reserves the right to refuse service or to honor a reservation booked thru internet or any GDS channel that is not an Airline arriving passengers. Airline arriving passengers traveling outside North Carolina and/or South Carolina will be subject to a USD/25.00 surcharge

Additional drivers USD/8.95 per day. Spouses are subject to a one time fee of USD/15.00

Rental Requirements - All renters and drivers will be required, at the time of rental, to supply - A valid drivers license (International license holders must provide proof of proper North American car insurance) current home address -not P.O.Box, and a current phone number, along with any other documentation required for the chosen form of payment.

Early / Late Return Early returns on rentals thru internet or thru GDS channels are non refundable and are subject to a USD/25.00 early return fee. Any early return subject to the non refund policy may use their credit for a future rental with FOX MYR. Reservation and application of credit must be made by calling 843 626 2056.

Extensions - To extend the rental agreement, customers must contact the location. If vehicle is kept longer than the return date stated on the rental agreement/contract, the rate will increase by USD/18.99 per day. The increased rate will be charged for each day after due return date, until the vehicle is returned.

Length of Rental - agreements/contract cannot be assigned for a period longer than 30 days. If you have reserved the vehicle for a longer period of time, you must go into the location prior to the 31st day and renew the rental agreement/contract.

The rate booked is guaranteed for the original duration of the reservation. Returns earlier or later than the return date on the reservation will be subject to a higher daily rate.

Debit Cards are only accepted with approval from rental location please call 843 626 2056 to arrange usage of a debit card. Customer will need to produce a valid comprehensive and collision car insurance policy in the cardholders name. No additional drivers permitted when a debit card is used to secure rental. More details when customer calls to arrange debit card rental.

Upon vehicle pickup, all drivers must present a valid US, Canadian, or International Drivers License. International license holders must provide proof of proper North American car insurance.

All rental vehicles are non smoking vehicles. Renters who choose to smoke in a rental vehicle will be subject to a USD/100.00 fee upon return.
