Choice Program FAQs

Choose a vehicle (Make, Color, Size), load up, and you're on your way! It's that easy!

What is the Choice System?
  • At time of rental a FOX Rental Representative starts and completes your rental transaction using your reservation.
  • After completing the rental contract you will proceed to ready car area and pick a car from an assortment of vehicles in car class rented. You choose Make, Model, and Color from those vehicles available in car class rented.
  • Ready to go vehicles are placed in sections by car class for you to choose.
  • Choose a vehicle, load up, and you’re on your way. It’s that easy!
What are the benefits of the Choice System?
  • You choose vehicle Make, Model, and Color within your reserved car class.
  • Service Time at rental counter is significantly reduced.
  • Change your mind and want a different class vehicle? No issue! Just see a FOX representative. We will assist with availability and price of another vehicle. You decide!
  • No time lost off the rental period. The vehicle contract does not record a start time for charges until the vehicle is assigned at exit.
Car Class reserved does not fit your needs?
Need something Bigger, Sportier, more luxurious? See a car in another section that catches your eye? Just see a FOX Representative. We will check on availability and price for that vehicle. Once availability and price of vehicle is confirmed, you can elect to change to the new car class. While you choose a vehicle in the new car class we will update your rental agreement and return for signature to confirm the change.
What about any marks or scratches on the vehicle?
A two part (carbon) Vehicle Condition Report is placed on the dash board of each vehicle in the ready to rent sections. This condition report documents current marks or scratches present on the vehicle. Please review the condition report prior to heading for the exit.
What happens at the Exit?
At the Exit you will need to show:
  1. Rental Contract
  2. Signed Two Part Vehicle Condition Report condition report
  3. At exit, Fox Representative will assign the vehicle chosen to your rental agreement, return your rental agreement with the carbon of Vehicle Condition Report and you are on your way.
Do I need to be Frequent Renter Member?
No Sign Up or Membership Required. All FOX Customers get to choose. AT FOX the Choice is Always Yours!
Is the Choice System available at all FOX Rental Locations?
As of May 5th the Choice system is available and in place at our Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix, San Jose, Oakland, Orange County and Seattle location.
  • Most FOX Corporate Rental Locations will add the Choice Program by October 2010.
